PM9501 scanner include STAR 2.0 Narrow-Band 910 MHz Radio Technology that not found in basic POS scanners. Scanner have up to 164 ft / 50 m wireless range (real-world); Much more stable than Bluetooth in warehouses and retail; low interference.

Industrial-grade imager reads almost any warehouse and production barcode: UPC, EAN, Code128, Code39, Code93, Codabar, MSI, Interleaved 2 of 5, GS1-128, GS1 DataBar, plus QR and more. Easily handles tiny, dense, reflective, low-contrast, dirty and damaged labels on pallets, cartons, racks, bins, metal parts – and scans codes from mobile screens.

Works with any system that accepts USB, RS-232 or Keyboard Wedge input – no drivers required in HID mode. Scanners tailored for use in store environments: fast scanning at checkout, short to medium working distances, and device versions available in black or white to match store interiors. Retail models also come with slightly different default firmware settings — they are preset for checkout workflows but can be fully reconfigured to industrial mode using the programming manual.
